As you may be aware, the School of Management and Labor Relations has the top HR program in the country. Our graduates occupy major positions in global organizations including GE, IBM, J&J, Colgate-Palmolive, and Wyeth. We are proud to offer an international Executive Master’s degree in HR Leadership, which provides a unique way to help you develop the future leaders of the profession.
The Global EMHRL is a one-year degree program with participants meeting four times a year for two-week sessions. It covers eight modules taught by world-renowned HR faculty/practitioners. The program is unique in its emphasis on HR leadership, especially focusing on the external context of the firm, the role of HR in competitive organizations, and the efficacy of the top HR position within the firm. Graduates of this program will be the next generation of Senior HR VPs in major corporations.
The program is targeted at high potential HR talent (those on a trajectory to achieve the top HR job) with a strong potential for senior HR leadership positions. A key take-away from the program will be an action-learning project dealing with an important issue faced by the sponsoring organization.
The program begins in late spring. The 2007 cost of the program, inclusive of material, tuition and accommodation is $60,000.
We hope this will give you an understanding of the program. We welcome your ideas and would be happy to discuss with you any issues or queries about what we believe is a most exciting degree program.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Respectfully,
Richard W. Beatty, Director
